Fraud email response

I submitted fraud claim 1/4/24 which AT&T noted on that date. I got an email 2/15/24 to respond to:  g00050@att.com

Is this legitimate or is this a fisher or scammer email. Who do I resend my info to as now AT&T is claiming I didn't send them the information which I did send them with the claim on 1/4/24?

You didn't answer my question, the email I got was from AT&T telling me to respond to: g00050@att.com

I am asking if that was a spam email or should I send my documentation to the email they sent as requested?

Hey@LMason198T, We understand your concern. To answer your question about the e-mail you received, is it a legitimate one?

Usually AT&T sends out an email with the domain att.com. However, if you wish to get the confirmation whether the email is legitimate. We encourage you to review our Contact Us page to identify what method you’d prefer to reach out for this account level help.  You can call, chat, or reach out via social media, and we can review your specific issue and provide you support.  We’re sorry we weren’t able to resolve your concern directly in the forums, but let us know if we can assist with anything else.

Thank you,

Veronica, AT&T Community Specialist.

Yes, Veronica, could you please tell me the phone number that I can call and talk to a live person about this issue of whether or not your company sent me this email?

Hi @LMason198T!

The Community Forums are a public support option where other users, and AT&T, will try and assist with high level support needs.   This means we won’t be able to look into account specific concerns.  To get the help you need for your unique issue, please review our Contact us page https://www.att.com/support/contact-us/ and choose the best option to reach out to us.  You can call, chat, or reach out via social media, and we can review your specific issue and provide you support.  If you feel your issue isn’t account specific, and can be answered generally, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to help.

Thank you for contacting AT&T Community & Forums,

Your support page doesn't have a fraud department to talk to or to answer a question about this issue. I walked into an AT&T Avon, CT store last Thursday 2/15/24 and their representative told me they couldn't help me or give me a phone number to call. Please advise because the answer you are giving me for the second time doesn't help me speak to a live person about this very simple question.
