Iphone 14 pro max carrier locked
Hello
recently i bought iPhone 14 pro max from a reseller that didn't inform me that it is esim carrier locked, found out that i could get it unlocked on AT&T site, so i tried it and it said it is not paid off, now i dont know who the original owner is i live in Europe and the reseller is of no help, is there any way for me to resolve this ?
Tried communicating with AT&T on social media but keep getting the same answer "contact the original owner" and that is impossible. Am i going to get stuck with a phone i cannot use or is there a way around this ?

@Mladen If the phone you purchased third hand still has an outstanding balance on it, then only the original owner can take care of that. AT&T can't and won't. Nor will they tell you how much is owed and allow you to pay off the balance. Unfortunately this is a common scam. If you can't get a hold of the original owner and have them pay off the balance and unlock it via the AT&T unlock portal, you have an expensive iPod. Get you money back.
