Landline phone
I would like to know if a repair person can check a dead wire for a fee.

Just what is it you're trying to do and what service are you using?

I'm just trying to see if one of these carriers can check the wiring in my kitchen. My phone comes with Spectrum.

If you phone is with Spectrum then you deal with them or a 3rd party in your area. AT&T will only service their customers.

As stated, find a low voltage contractor in your area. Many electricians do low voltage work.

For a fee?
ATT standard service call is $99, which is billed to your account.
You do not have ATT service but Spectrum, how much do they charge for a service call?
Note materials would be extra, for ATT standard charge for wiring is $55 thus $154 (99+55) for a service call needing (1) new line installed or replaced.

@Cinny213
Why are checking other phone providers instead of who your service is through? Are you consider switching providers or is something else going on?
