My mom died and i want to unlock her S9.

Hello guys, what happenend: my mom died 3 years ago and i own her cellphone now. I came to brazil and i can't use their mobile network. I formatted her cellphone so i don't have anymore her gmail. I want to unlock the galaxy s9, but as i said I don't have her email anymore. Is there anyway that AT&T could help me?

If your mother's phone was completely paid off, and the account it was attached to was also paid off, and any/all other requirements for unlocking the phone are complete, just go to

https://att.com/unlock

, verify that the phone has met the requirements for unlocking and say that you're not an AT&T subscriber and enter the phone's ID.

AT&T may not allow traffic that appears to come from Brazil to access that site, so you may have to use a VPN or a friend or something to accomplish this process.  If any of the requirements haven't been met, you probably have a nice little handheld computer that can't be connected to any mobile/cellular network other than AT&T's.
