Order canceled due to suspicious activity

I was attempting to order an iPhone 14 because the phone I currently have is 4 years old and on its' last legs. I desperately need a new one soon before it gives out on me.

I put in all of the information asked during the checkout process, including my SSN.

After everything was sent through I was informed that within 24 hours I'd have to submit a photo of my ID or my order would be canceled.

Within 10 minutes of receiving the email, I uploaded my ID. Once it went through it said that it was safe to close the tab so I did, only to be greeted by it saying my order was canceled due to the inability to confirm my identity. It said I have to go on stores to order.

Now it won't even let me try to redo my order, or even select phones to look at them. A tab pops up saying OOPS something went wrong, and gives me the number 800-331-0500

I sadly don't have the ability to go in stores, so I need to do it online. I don't know what to do. I'm frustrated and can't get ahold of someone to talk to.

Sounds like they need to confirm your identity. If you have a PIN number usually that's all they need if not done in person (at least that's how it used to work). If not, then you need to go into a store (preferably a Corporate Store) and show your identity.
