Porting Fail/Rejected need help
Hi. I have a close account with att but I decided I would like to port the number. The message I get from the new service is for my rejection is:
We're sorry to let you know that your port in failed. |
What happened? Your previous carrier has rejected your port request, because the number you are trying to port is no longer active. |
What do I need to do? Please contact your previous carrier and ask them to reactivate the number, then return to your Tello online account and resubmit the port in. We’ll be waiting! |
Can I get help and is porting still possible on my close account? Thank you.

You can't port a number from a closed account.

This enable port with verification code and resubmitting the port request was a wild goose chance. Then somehow there was a disable port department and they couldn't send me port verification code to verified me. I'll have to call & update my information with the credit bureau and retry it. 😂
