On 11/6, I contacted AT&T to ask as to the amount to pay off my three iPhone 14 Promax phones, and was told that there was $855.51 remaining on each phone. The total was $2,566.53, which I sent to ATT on 11/8.

ATT placed this as a "credit" to my account, which makes no sense. I called on 11/14 and spoke with "Josh." I informed Josh I wanted that money refunded as it was not being applied towards the payoff my my cellphones. Just processed my request and got supervisor approval and the request was( Edited as per community guidelines). I was told it would be 3-5 business days. I even provided my bank routing and account numbers.

I called again on 11/20 as nothing had been done with my credit balance. After spending 90 minutes, the customer service person indicated he had talked with his supervisor at that my request would be sent as a high priority and I should receive my refund in 2-3 business day. However, the tech also told me I would get an SMS and email confirmation, which has not occurred.

My patience is near the end. I have talked with FairShake about legal action against AT&T in small claims court. I don't want to do that as it will be a hassle.

Why is AT&T treating me so poorly. I have been a loyal customer for many years even though your prices are well above those of others.

I ask that we resolve this without legal action.

Please contact me with a resolved account ASAP.

This is a customer populated message board and NOT a way to contact ATT..  If you’re lucky @ATTHelp will offer a DM  but that is not guaranteed.

That being said, file a complaint with the BBB.  Those are forwarded to the OOP.  Someone should contact you.  No need for threats of legal action.

Side note:  You posted in the HOME phone forum.  Hopefully @ATTHelp will see your post.
