Retired employee home phe concession
I have been retired since 2005 and have been receiving a $25.00 AT&T Legacy long distance concession long before that. As of January 2024, HealthSmart (where I mailed a copy of my bill for reimbursement) is no longer and this has been taken over by Alight. Alight has denied reimbursement. I have not received any documentation saying this from AT&T, and can get nowhere with Alight. Who can I contact to resolve this, my only other option is the BBB.

Have you called the discount center? The number is 888-251-0645

888-251-0645 is the number for HealthSmart. They are no longer handling home phone concessions. Alight is now handling them, and they are the ones denying the reimbursement for my home phone.

Then I guess they should remove the AT&T announcement. Since I have no concessions, I have no further suggestions. You could ask for a supervisor at Alight to see if they can tell you why. Might just be one more benefit that's been removed. I used to get the LD discount like you, but that was when AT&T was still the real AT&T, I'm also a Legacy retiree. Mine stopped when the local phone company said I had to use their LD service and could no longer use AT&T, which would have raised my bill significantly. I switched to a wireless home phone over 5 years ago which included LD and have never regretted it. It's about a third the cost of the landline I had.

I tried to speak with a supervisor but got nowhere. Thank you for your suggestions.

Thank you - thank you - thank you! I have been trolling the internet for this exact information. I always knew of the presidential complaint but couldn't figure out how.
