Telemarketing calls increased after switching to Uverse
Hi!
I was wondering if anyone else has noticed that the telemarketing calls have skyrocketed since switching to U verse wireless home phone. I am on the state and country Do Not Call registry, and when I had the "plain old landline" home phone service through AT&T, I used to get 3-4 calls a day. As soon as I switched to U verse, I got 10-15 telemarketing calls a day. Now I get 20+. The phone rings all day long with these calls.
I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this, and what I can we about it.?

Yes,
I too noticed an immediate spike in telemarketing the day after my home phone was made digital on Uverse. I've read somewhere that you can put a block on all but twenty numbers to stop it. Who has only twenty contacts they want to be able to call them?
