Hello @stevansc101,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Let's shed some light on your device unlock situation and get the help you need.

In order to unlock your device, you should be residing in the United States and in addition to unlock the device, it must meet all to unlock eligibility requirements given below:

  • AT&T phone or device
  • Not active on another AT&T account
  • Customer must wait 60 days from purchase date to submit an unlock request (Installment Plan pay off & Pay in Full).
  • Not reported as lost or stolen or involved with fraud.
  • Account is not past due.
  • 3G Sunset devices can be unlocked if eligibility requirement is met.
  • Devices on cancelled CTN/accounts can be unlocked if all other requirements are met.

Also, to Submit a device unlock request:

  1. Go to http://sm.att.com/9d457b55.
  2. Select Unlock your device and follow the prompts.
