Why did my ATT bill increase by 30 dollars a month?

I have been paying  about 45 dollars a month for internet and home phone for about a year. I was originally told that the phone is free since it's a promotion (the salesperson lied). It turned out to be an extra 10 dollars a month, which is doable.

I looked at my bill today and it increased 30 dollars for no reason whatsoever (I'm sure ATT technically has a "reason").

I noticed this little tidbit in the bill:

$2.93
Removed 02/23
Phone xxx-xxx-xxxx (2-Yr Price Guarantee when minimum of 3 qualifying products are maintained) (Expires 09/26/2018)
$2.93
Charged from 02/23 - 02/26

Not only was I never informed that my bill was contingent upon maintaining 3 products, or that my bill was going to change for this cycle, but I never even had 3 products in the first place! All I have had was internet and a home phone!

What do I need to do to get my 30/40 dollars back? I'm not paying those kind of prices for a landline phone, my billing cycle is for the upcoming month correct? Can I get it cancelled and get my money refunded for this month?
