DL72210 sound delay during conversation
I have a new DL72210 that has a 5 or so second delay during conversations, possibly only when talking with cell phone users on the other end. I had one successful conversation, with someone at an 800 number, so thinking they were landline. All other people I have tried to speak with experience the 5 (or more) second delay. It's done this since hooking it up an we have not paired any cell phones with it.
Unfortunately, Best Buy only has a 2-week return policy and it's been 2 months - mostly due to troubleshooting, so I'll have to call in a warranty issue with AT&T, but would prefer to resolve the issue and keep the phone.

What service are you using the phone on? Plug a plain old corded phone in and see if you have the same issue to the same number, I doubt very much that it's the phone.

That's a good avenue to follow, but I have another AT&T phone connected to another jack and it works fine. We use Ooma on T-Mobile home internet service. It worked with our previous phone, but it started going bad and we needed a new phone, so I got the 72210. I also haven't had a plain ole corded phone in the house for some time now.

It's not the phone, I'm sure of that. Guess the rest is up to you. You can get a cheap corded phone at Walmart. Or have a friend or relative with a landline or phone service they like? Take your phone there and try it.
