Downed AT&T line in my yard - needs to be removed.
I am not an AT&T customer, so the automated phone line does not work (won't let me proceed without an account number). There is a downed AT&T line in my yard that needs to be removed. I was transferred to the repair line and was on hold for over two hours and no one ever picked up. Please direct message me.

Again, that link doesn't work. It's an automated response and asks for my account number. I don't have an account number, so it won't let me proceed. How do I get rid of this old AT&T line that is hanging down in my yard and possibly dangerous??

Did you read the bullet under the downed and obstructed line header? You don't have to have an account.

I read the bullet. Unfortunately that's not how the automated system works. The very first thing it asks for is an account number. It won't let me proceed without an account number. Try it yourself!

If . Don’t have an account with us? Let us know you aren’t a customer, and then say, “Line is down.” Doesn't work for you than I don't know what to tell you as others have used these instructions with no problem. Like you I'm a customer and have no secret numbers.
