I'm guessing the wires are exposed with the damage.

Report unburied cables, exposed wires, or downed lines

I did call the 1-800-288-2020 and explained the issue; they referred me to Risk Management 800-246-8464.  They both tried to get me to change my cell phone to them.  They've scheduled a technician to come out and look at them.

You were told to call Risk Management for them to repair their equipment? That makes no sense as Risk Management would be for new accounts with either credit or fraud concerns.

There are green boxes containing wires in our neighborhood.  Some of them have been vandalized and the covers are off with wires exposed.  They may not be live but we don't know.  Some of the metal boxes are bent with jagged edges.  They are an eyesore and could be dangerous to children playing in the area.
