Error Code 058T//Incoming Calls/No Voice Mail

If I can't take a call, callers get a "call can't be completed" message followed by error code 058T. And no one can leave messages. I've turned the phone off and on and tried dialing 611 -- which didn't work. My research suggests you need to re-set my voice mail.

This doesn't sound like home phone service. If it is what service do you have.

Doesn't help. Is this a traditional landline, AT&T Phone digital service or something else?

Hey @johnfenner, we hear you and understand the importance of Incoming Calls. Let's get the help you need.

Let's narrow down the situation with a few questions:

1) Are you facing this situation at a certain location?
2) Are you experiencing this with other carrier users only or every user?
3) Is your Samsung device's software up to date?
4) Is your Voicemail box full by any chance?

In meanwhile please try a few troubleshooting steps:

1) Reset network settings : To reset your network settings as a whole, tap the “Reset Wi-Fi, Mobile & Bluetooth” or “Reset Network Settings” option, depending on your version of Android. You’ll need to confirm that you want to proceed. Tap “Reset Settings” to begin the process.
2) Reset Voicemail: To reset voicemail on Android, you can follow these steps :

  1. Open the voicemail app on your Android phone.
  2. Look for the option to reset or change the voicemail password. It may be under settings or account settings.
  3. Enter your current voicemail password, then choose a new password and confirm it.
  4. Save the changes and exit the voicemail app. Your voicemail password should now be reset.

3) Did try toggling airplane mode to refresh your device's network.

Let us know if the situation still persists.

So you do have wireless service, cell phone?

Yes. Phone works. Internet works. Everything works. Just when someone calls and I can't take it and decline the call, they get the annoying boop-boop-boop that sounds like a siren on crack, followed by "call can't be completed" message followed by error code 058T.  And when I miss the call ... same thing. And no one can leave a voice mail.

You've posted in the home phone forum, as in landline service.
