Help with the Imei
Hello, good night, I wanted to make an inquiry. I bought a cell phone that is from your company but apparently it is blocked from the network. I live in Latin America. I wanted to put the chip of my country and it is blocked. Could you help me?

The original owner should have unlocked it first before they sold it, if they could. You can try the unlock portal (you may have to use a VPN if accessing it outside of the country) and see what error message you get.
This is a public, customer only forum. It is not official AT&T Support.

Don't understand your post. What email from AT&T? AT&T is not going to email or contact you directly.

Hi there, we understand you would like to get your device unlocked and use a SIM from your Country, and we're here to provide information.
The device that you've bought will need to be unlocked by the previous owner as @OttoPylot rightly mentioned. You can visit our website to request getting the device unlocked. If the device is not eligible to get unlocked, you'll need to contact the seller for that device and get more information that can help you get the device unlocked.
We hope this information helps!
Thank you for contacting AT&T Community & Forums,
