Call in to repair service if the website isn't working. If this is a traditional landline make that clear when calling in.

Maybe I should have mentioned we do not have cell phone service at our location.  Very rural, have to travel maybe two miles to reliable cellphone.  So how do we call?  My complaint was no way to put in repair ticket via internet.  Found out this morning that a major cable was down.

Guess you'd have to drive until you have service or use a neighbors phone. This is a user forum we can't help or have access to website issues. If a major cable is cut than you have your answer. I have no idea what service, digital or traditional to give you further suggestions as you haven't said. You can go to this link select the service you have and go to the trouble shooting portion. You can also use troubleshoot and resolve. I don't know if it works on traditional landlines or not.

Back in the olden days....the days BEFORE cell phones (yes, there was a time before cell phones), if our "phone", aka landline, went out, we would go to a neighbor's house to call the phone company.

Archaic, right?

Should have used my old tin can & string phone.  At midnight I wasn't going to travel out, which we did  this morning.  I was looking for help, advice for putting in request for reporting an outage of old technology since I hitting my head against the brick wall.

Additional comment, I did mention very rural, in other words no nearby neighbors.  Here in Georgia I might get shot at for knocking on a stranger's door.

We're happy to help with setting up a repair appointment, @Tennis Bum.

Thank you @spoom2 and @skeeterintexas for the helpful information.

We have useful information on how to report a problem with your AT&T Home Phone.

  1. Go to AT&T repair and select Home Phone.
  2. Enter your home phone number and select Continue.
  3. Tell us about the problem you're having, then select Continue.
  4. Review any troubleshooting steps to see if you can fix it yourself.
  5. Follow the prompts to submit your ticket.

Let us know if this works or if you still need further assistance with this.

Thank all of you for your comments.  I was hoping for an e-mail type input for my repair request.  For your information I tried all the above links before I joined the community to ask for help.  All my requests for repair got funneled into my Direct TV account and tangled up.  Never could get signed in my AT&T account without it bringing up DTV.  The system for reporting repair on traditional phone lines is corrupt.

If you tried them all than all that's left is a phone call. As was stated in the second post. There is no email if the websites don't work calling is the only other option.
