Call 800-288-2020. You don't say outage for what or what service.

It is a landline.
1 877 737-2478 seems to be having problems as it goes to long waits without being answered.
att.com/repair requires a login, but a login can not be created as the system trys to send a confirmation code to the phone number that is out.
I was able to do a report last week with the phone line, but the on-line outage system reports no outages, so they must have lost track of the outages reported last week.
All methods to escalate or contact them seem broken because the numbers can not be reached and the login/account establishment systems are broken.
Is there anyway to be sure the outage report is in place and get information about the timeline that does not require a phone line (which is out) or a login which does not work?

We're happy to help with your landline outage, @30LTCTR29690.
Here is more information on how to report an issue with your AT&T home phone.
Try this and let us know if that helps or if you need further assistance.

I'm pretty sure a traditional landline can only be report by phone. The number you're calling is for a regional repair center which are not 24/7, but I don't know their hours. All you can do is keep trying. If you want to escalate to an executive you can do so by filling out the form.

Thanks -- I tried the escalate, but it seemed to require a login.
The repair service number used to be automated -- you call it, they do a 'check the line' tell you that the line is out according to the checking of the line, then tell you when the repair will happen.
Now the phone line seems like it is being forwarded off to something with a long queue that never comes off hold. The repair line plays a recording about the att.com/repair page, but to report an outage with that you need a login, and establishing a login requires the phone to work.
I reported it out last week using the number, but the outage report appears to have been dropped without anything being done as they do not show an outage.
Anybody know what is going on? Is there a major outage?

We have had no internet/phone/cable since last Wed afternoon. ATT contractors are digging in our comm to install fiber and cut a hub line. The contractor reported it and ATT has yet to show up 5 days later! They are a joke of a company and you can't talk to anyone who can give you a repair update. Very frustrated and will be switching to Verizon or Xfinity real soon.

ATT is awful!!! We have been without internet/cable/phone for 5 days and they have yet to send a repair crew to repair the line. Their crew who are digging to run fiber broke the line last WED, they reported it and ATT is yet to show up. Very frustrated as we both work out of our home. We are contacting our lawyer to inquire about billing them for lost revenue over these extended outages. Can anyone help? We can't seem to get a straight answer on a repair timeline let alone sending a crew to the site.

Discussion of legal matters are forbidden by the Community Guidelines. Posts containing such may be edited or removed. But I think it's humorous to think you'll pay a lawyer less than you would recover from AT&T. Unless you have a commercial account with an SLA (and if you do, you're posting in the wrong forum), AT&T makes not commitment to reliability. When you have services that are covered by an SLA, I'm pretty sure they limit their liability to what you pay them.
So please, take your posturing elsewhere. If you haven't called in the outage yourselves, then you're depending on the crew to have done what they said they did, which they may not have, AND it will make it hard to even get credit for the time you were without service, because there will be no documentation that your account was without it.

In addition, your post has nothing to do with the original topic. As stated, report it yourself, don't rely on others.
