No voices with incoming and outgoing calls
I have an ATT cordless with answering machine and one satellite phone, Model CR82212. There is a dial tone and outgoing calls ring but no voices heard on either end. Incoming calls ring but there are no voices for caller or receiver. Both are fully charged. I have unplugged the unit for 30 seconds with no change. Also unplugged phone line for 30 seconds with no change. Please advise.

If you're using U-verse service reset the modem, traditional landline test from the NID with a know working corded phone and if bad at the NID report to the phone company, if not the trouble is inside your home.

Thanks for reply. What is landline test? I have unplugged the modem for several minutes with no change.

If you're plugged into a modem than you don't have a traditional land line. You say you unplugged the modem. You unplugged from the power source correct? Also if it has a battery backup that has to be removed also. If this doesn't fix it make sure it's not your phone system by plugging a known working corded phone into the modem to make sure it's not your phone. If still bad with a known working corded phone report it to the phone company.
