Remove old AT&T box and cables

I just moved into a house with this old box and cable and would like to remove them. The bigger cable has been cut on the end and appears to go to the power line in the front. The cable from the box is going to something on my roof. Can I just cut these cables and throw the box away?

The cables that are round are coax, they aren't phone. The box looks like a phone company NID if there's no current aerial wires coming into it you can do with it as you wish. It does look like in the third picture in the eave cut out there are some phone lines coming in. Use this link and follow the instructions for down or obstructed lines.

Thanks for the response. I called the number on the page you linked and she didn't seem to know what I was talking about, she just kept telling me to remove it if I don't want it.  So I can cut both of these and won't screw up anything/electrocute myself?

I can't speak to the coax as I don't know who your internet service is from. As far as electrocuted goes, no even if they're still hooked up in the CO there would only be 48 volts on them. When you called did you follow the step by step in the link? Seems to work for others.

My internet is from T-Mobile cellular, and that cable is cut on one end already so I don't know why I would need to keep it. I did follow the instructions for down lines when I called. Do they usually offer to come out and remove them for people? Maybe I should try again.

The two under the eave still have aerial drops going to them which would require a tech to remove.

Ok, that's what I was afraid of. Thanks very much for your help. I'll call back again and try to get someone to come out.
