Hello @Hardik2706,

We hear you and let's get you the help you need.

Make sure that the plan you are on includes 5G. If postpaid service, that would be any of the unlimited data plans, if prepaid, that would be the Unlimited Plus plan. Once you have checked please go ahead and follow the below steps.

  • Try resetting your network settings.
    • If you're using iOS, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
    • On Android, go to Settings > System > Advanced > Reset options > Reset network settings.
    • Switch on and turn off the Airplane mode.

If you ported your device recently:

  • Make sure your device software is up to date.
  • Visit an AT&T store to get a new SIM card.
  • Program your device's APN settings:
    • Tap your Settings menu.
    • Choose either Wireless & Networks, More Networks, or Connections.
    • Tap Mobile Networks, then Access Point Names.
    • Find and select the option to add a new APN. You may find a plus (+) symbol on the screen, or tap the menu button.
    • Program each field using the settings found in the table.
    • Save your changes to return to the APN's menu and choose the new APN.

Hope this helps! Feel free to revert for any further questions.

Hey there! We understand you're concerned about the 5G access on your device, and we are here to get you the information you need.

After looking at your screenshot, it seems like you're on another network, by another network provider. Please get in touch with the network provider to assess the availability of 5G on your device, and in your area.

Hope this information helps, and thank you for visiting AT&T Community Forums!

Hey there! While we understand how important dependable 5G access is, since you aren't in the US, you will need to get in touch with the network provider you are using. 5G access depends on the area you are in, and the network provider you are currently using.

Since your phone is 5G capable, as mentioned earlier, you will need to contact your network provider, which in this case is Jio.

Do let us know if you have any other concerns or questions for us in the future.

Hey @Hardik2706, Let's get the information you need.

To set up 5G on your Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G, you need to have a 5G SIM card, an eligible plan, and be in an AT&T 5G coverage area. You can activate 5G by going to Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Network mode and selecting 5g/4g/3g/2g from the list (auto connect).

Also, as addressed by our previous AT&T expert since your phone is 5G capable, as mentioned earlier, you will need to contact your network provider, which in this case is Jio.

Hope this information helps,

Please reach out to us, if you have any more questions.
