Telephone wire has been down (and a ticket open) for three months but still hasn't been removed

I submitted a request to ATT in August when a telephone wire was knocked down into our backyard.  The ticket has been open for three months, with still no update on when the wire will be removed.  A second ticket was even opened when someone at ATT tried to close the first ticket despite it not being resolved.  We do not have a landline and do not need the wire.  Additionally, it is causing issues for the humans and dogs who live here since it is d(Edited per community guidelines)d into a frequently used area of the yard.  How can I get this wire removed ASAP given I've already been trying for months now? Any help would be appreciated.

Zip code?

ATT is the provider and not a different telco such as CenturyLink, Fairpoint, Frontier, TDS, Verizon, Windstream, etc?

The line is flat like a ruler (telco) not round (coax) like sharpie?

While waiting you can wrap the line around the pole removing it from the yard.
