Two Bases for same phone number
I would like to have two bases: one in the office and one in the bedroom: both for the same phone number. Is that possible? I currently have model # CL84207. Can I purchase another CL84207 and use it in the bedroom? If I only plug the 2nd base in the 110 wall outlet, how can it pair with the first base in the office? Thank you for your help.

You'd need to run a phone line from your existing routers ATA to the 2nd base, using the homes existing wiring if there is any or running a new line. Both phones would have to be on the same output of the ATA whether it be out of a modem or an external ATA like Ooma.

The bases will be on the same line, but the handsets will be only able to communicate with the base they are registered to. One answering machine would have to be turned off. You can't "pair" the bases. Why do you need two base units?

Thank you for your help! The base phone has more information visible and is easier to use than the portable handsets. I prefer the base units to the little portable accessory handsets. I'm using a phone line with internet. If I plug the first base into the router in the office, how do I set up the 2nd base in the bedroom? Would need two routers?
