above ground cable box
yes in my back yard we have a SBC above ground cable box. the round tube like that is about 3 ft high in my yard. is this equipment still vaild? have not seen anyone from SBC work on it in over 10 years no new line added. if it is not useful anymore i would like it removed from my yard. the number that is on it is . can someone please send someone to remove it from my yard. thank you. you can or email me at [email scrubbed]

You can't tell by looking at it, or going by the number of times you've seen someone working in it to determine whether or not it carries service. You can call the service number to see if they will get someone out to determine that, or you can contact engineering by going to the business link on the bottom right of this page and post in business apps and solutions to find engineering. The odds are against you that there no service in it. You will need to register in that forum to open a topic.
