Is it possible to cancel incoming call while it's ringing?

Is it possible to drop an incoming call without answering it in a landline phone (like cell phones allow)?

Say I see Caller Id and know it's a spammer or some uninvited sales people :-(
"Off" button on landline phones is "end call in progress" but can I reject the call without answering it (as cell phones allow)?
