What phone service do you have? Does it plug into your modem/gateway? Is it wireless home phone? Traditional landline?

It is a pots with copper wiring. It took several weeks s to resign a new # via the central office. Happy that was achieved but cannot access it on my online account. I have gotten paper bills. Just wondering how I will be belled?

I'm surprised you were able to get a POTS line as they are being phased out and usually once removed you can't get them. To your question, this is a customer-based forum and we have no access to accounts. You'll need to contact billing. Sounds like what you had was remove, for whatever reason if you had to receive a new number.

Thanks, my original pots # was showing up on the dark web so I asked it to be changed. Yes I know at&t has wanted to drop traditional landlines for some time. Every tech in the field I’ve met advising me to hold on to it🙄

Not much we can do about billing issues. POTS lines are being price out of existence by all carriers. I dropped mine over 5 years ago and moved to a wireless home phone and have never regretted it.

Yes, it is a labyrinth that made my head spin. I’ll change when the time comes.
if it’s now why can’t I simple be told so? Communication is vital.
