Rotary Feature codes?

Is there such thing as feature codes for rotary phones?

For example, if you’re a customer of the Rural Telephone Cooperative in the next town over, you can dial “1169” on a rotary instead of dialing “*69” like you would on a touch tone.

I tried that, but it didn’t work. What are the rotary feature codes for AT&T?

There is no specific codes for rotary dial. Some star codes can be dialed from rotary dialed phone by putting a 11 if front of the code, but not all codes work. You say you tried it with AT&T but you don't say what service you have. The only thing a rotary dial phone would even work on would be a traditional landline (POTS). It wouldn't work with digital service. There's no way to know other than try it as you did and it didn't work, so the AT&T switch doesn't recognize 11 as a star, nothing you can do about it.  I'm surprised any company would recognize 11 as star as most switches see the first 1 as you wanting to call long distance.
