Sending callers directly to voicemail.

As a retiree, I have kept my landline even though my wife and I both have cell phones.   Most of the calls we get are "junk" calls, so we don't answer.  I would like to set up my voicemail to kick in immediately or at most after one ring.

From what I can find, looks like you have to call customer service to get the number of rings changed on a POTS line.

Assuming this is a traditional landline (POTS) follow your voicemail prompts and set the number of rings to answer to the lowest you can. Also, if your phone has a do not disturb feature activate it than you won't hear it ringing.

It is a POTS I have had for over 30 years.  I have tried going into voice mail but I don't have any option for the number of rings before going to voicemail.  Many years ago I remember using that feature but I can't get to it now.

I am having same issue.  I call in to voicemail but I cannot find any menu or submenu option for changing number of rings.  Old POTS line with ATT voicemail.  I have listened to every menu option and every submenu option and cannot find anything regarding setting or changing number of rings.  Please help.  Thank you!

Call customer service if you can't find it using the prompts. When you call say POTS or landline
