AT&T handset
How can I delete the No Voicemail indication on an AT&T handset. When I try to follow the instructions in the manual (it says to press and hold the reset OFF/Cancel button with the handset off, it simply doesn’t work. Am I missing a step of what?

Make and model? There's more than one. What do you mean by NO voicemail indicator? Never heard of a no voicemail indicator, why would they tell you there's no voicemail?
