Easement tree maintenance

I believe ATT has a ROW easement through a property I just purchased and the overgrown trees are pulling down the lines. I was curious if you have an arborist i should speak with.

Tree trimming is the responsibility of the landowner. They don't trim trees in an easement any more than they mow the grass in an easement.

What happens if the ATT lines are damaged? The electric utility trims below their lines but leaves anything under that and it appears the vegetation is putting stress on the ATT lines

That's not the issue, you asked who trims the trees. I don't know what would happen if the trees damaged the lines just because of overgrowth. If they were damaged due to a storm that would be a different story. Power is a different story also, as limbs into the power lines can cause them to short out long before any physical damage to the lines caused by the weight of the branches.
