Check your phone company provided voicemail, that's probably where they are.

If you're unable to retrieve a recorded message from your home phone, there could be several reasons why this is happening:

  1. Incorrect Retrieval Procedure: Ensure you're following the correct steps to retrieve messages from your home phone. Typically, you would dial a specific number (often your own home phone number) and then follow the prompts to access your voicemail or recorded messages.

  2. Voicemail System Configuration: Check if your voicemail system is properly configured. Ensure that voicemail is set up correctly on your home phone line and that there are no issues with the voicemail service from your telephone service provider.

  3. Storage Capacity: It's possible that the recorded message was not saved due to limited storage capacity in your voicemail box. Check if your voicemail box has reached its capacity limit, and delete any old or unnecessary messages to free up space.

  4. Technical Issues: Sometimes, technical issues with your home phone service or voicemail system can prevent messages from being properly recorded or retrieved. Contact your telephone service provider for assistance if you suspect technical issues are causing the problem.

  5. User Error: Double-check to ensure that you recorded the message successfully in the first place. It's possible that the recording process was not completed correctly, resulting in the absence of a message to retrieve.

If you've tried troubleshooting these potential issues and are still unable to retrieve your recorded message, consider reaching out to your telephone service provider for further assistance. They may be able to diagnose the problem and provide a solution to help you access your messages successfully.
