Old land line wire removal
Update: After being on hold for 40 minutes, I have an appt for next week to have the old phone lines removed. Here is the best number to call. 1 877 737 2478 to line removal if you do not have a current land line account with ATT.
I need to have the old ATT land line wires running from the utility pole to my house removed. I tried calling 1 800 288 2020 option 1. Since I'm calling from my ATT wireless number, I always end up connected to the wireless dept. 3 times they have given me different numbers to call or transferred me, but either the number is disconnected or I end up back with the wireless group.

At the voice prompt say not a customer, if you don't have landline service. When it asks if you want to apply for service say no. I will than ask why your calling say line down. All that should get you to the correct group.
