old telephone line connected to pole

Theres an old telephone line connected to pole right in the middle of my property I just purchased, no service, need removed ASAP for developing land!

I've reached out to AT&T about this over three times with a technician supposedly going out each time with the last time being on last week.  I just checked my property today, and the line is STILL THERE!  What on God's green Earth needs to be done beyond contacting your LINE DOWN dept.???

This is a customer-based forum and not a way to contact AT&T there's no way from your description we can tell what kind of wire is on this pole or if that's where it ends. If you can't get the information and service you need through normal AT&T channels file an FCC complaint.

Its funny how you told the other ppl posting about the engineering dept but you have an excuse when it comes to me.  IT IS AN OLD ATT LAND LINE WIRE THAT NEEDS TO BE REMOVED FROM AN ALABAMA POWER POLE ASAP.  ALABAMA POWER, A COMPANY THAT ACTUALLY RESPONDS TO ISSUES, CAME OUT AND CONFIRMED THAT IT IS YOUR LINE AND YOU ALL NEED TO REMOVE IT.  SO WHAT IS YOUR ENGINEERING DEPT CONTACT NUMBER?

So, follow the link for engineering. I was trying to clarify exactly what the issue was, still am. If the pole has power on it what's the issue with the phone line. I do not work for AT&T I'm a customer who tries to help other customers. With your attitude I'm done with you. You were given good advice use it or not, makes no difference to me.
