phone keeps changing time

I have a V-Tech CS 5229 cordless home phone. Straight Talk is the provider.  The phone keeps changing the time when a call comes in doesn't matter where the calls are coming from.  There is nothing in the manual how to over ride this.  I have been been working on this for a while. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have contacted the provider and V-Tech with no solution.  I have searched and no answers. Please help.

It won't be a V-Tech issue it will be a provider issue as they are the ones sending you the caller ID, which the phone gets the time from. Once you set month day and year the time is maintained by caller id.  Most likely there is a time zone setting in your phone provider or an option to offset by the number of hours difference.

@ATTHelp your link is broken. Not sure how it would have helped on the CID  time stamp issue though.

See this from Straight Talk my guess is you're set to the default of using network time. As I've stated a couple of times, the Caller ID timestamp which sets your phones time AFTER your initial settings in your phone set up is controlled by your provider. In your case Straight talk how you use this app for your home phone plug in from Straight talk is for you to work out with Straight talk.
