removing old wired connection box

In the photo, an old connection box for wired phone lines can be seen dangling from a connection block.  There used to be a tree in front of the area, blocking the visibility of these objects.  Now that they are visible, it would be nice to remove them to clean up the appearance of the area.  We are a retreat center, so having an attractive setting is important.  My question is whether AT&T would like to come out and remove them or if it would be OK for me to go ahead and remove them.

Thank you,

Paul Rauh

If it's coming in buried, which it looks like it is, you can just remove everything yourself if you want.  I'd remove the buried wire and roll it up and bury it just incase it's ever needed.

Unless you like spam you should remove all personal information as nobody is going to use it to contact you anyway, you have to call. To post a photo click on the image icon on the bottom next to the thing that looks kind of like a paper clip

Do you currently have ATT service at the center?

Part of the zip code is supported by ATT but a part is supported by Frontier Communications,  one or the other but not both would support the address.

We used to have AT&T service but no longer do.

Spoom2 said, "you have to call."  I tried calling but was not allowed to talk with a person because the phone I was using was not part of an AT&T account.  The automated interface said I needed to contact the company that had the account for the phone, that that company could answer my wireless questions -- even though I had said that my question was not about wireless service.

I had added this photo to the initial post but do not see it now as part of that post.  Spoom2 gave direction on how to include a photo.  That is exactly what I did the first time and am doing it again.

The photo is showing now, just as it did after posting the first time.
