Unwanted calls

I receive up to 6+ unwanted calls per day. I've blocked nearly 500 phone # (using a function on the phones I have) in the past year or year and a half. Can someone tell me if AT&T is doing anything about this issue? I can't find any way to contact AT&T personally to complain about this. I would cancel my account but my 90 year old mom relies on the land line.

First explain block 500 calls using your phones functions. What make and model of phone? If this is a traditional landline there isn't much any of the carriers are doing. Most things being handle by the FCC's mandate on Stir/Shaken (look it up) are for cell service and digital phone service. There's phone with good call blockers, but they don't use call blocking as much as call screening, however, both are available.
