I cannot log into Max with my AT&T account

I have the AT&T Unlimited Choice plan with Max included. There is not an option to Activate Max on my AT&T account. When I try to log in through my provider on Max app or website I receive the message "Can't Verify Subscription." 

How can I go about logging into Max which is included in my plan?

@ChancellorB  Try this:

Contact Max Support at 855-442-6629, or go to Max.com, sign in with your AT&T login on a laptop, phone or tablet first,  and then create a Max username and password. You can then use that username and password to sign in on your television or other devices by “sign in” instead of signing in with the provider. That has worked for some but not all.

If you have not made any changes at all to your AT&T plan since you first activated your Max (HBO Max) account then it could be that Max is starting to not honor the AT&T legacy accounts anymore. It's totally up to Max (WBD) as to what they want to do with legacy AT&T accounts. If you never activated your Max account when you first signed up, it may be too late now because the migration of AT&T accounts to the Ad-free, HD Only tier has probably been discontinued by now.
