att.com keeps asking me to change my password

att.com and the myatt app force me to change my password about every 2-3 weeks, telling me there are too many login attempts. I am the only one who logs into this account. The stupid part is, I change it to the exact same password every time, so this can't be a security precaution. How can I get this to stop?

We want to help get to the bottom of what's happening with your online account, @kmulkey58

Please answer the questions provided below to help us determine the root cause:

  • Is the 'remember me' option checked on your login screen? If not, we recommend enabling this option to see if you still experience this login error.
  • Before receiving the 'too many login attempts' error are you being presented with the 'login failed' or 'incorrect password' error? This will give us a better understanding of what you're experiencing.
  • Have you tried using another browser? This is a common resolve to most web page errors.

Looking forward to your response!

I've been having the exact same issue, customer service reps have no idea whats going on. They'll try and walk you through a password reset procedure then ask if you were able to access your account. It was happening literally every other day with my original primary login email to the point where I was tired of it and used another new email as my login. This seemed to fix the problem, now after about 60 days, I'm experiencing the same problem. This is obviously an AT&T security issue and it NEEDS to get addressed.

Did anyone get a fix to this? I changed it again yesterday and today it tells me after my first login the same thing, that after so many attempts, I will be forced to change my password. So frustrated. I only use my phone b/c I get so frustrated signing into my account. Please help!!!

I keep having this happen, too. And when I try to log in on another device, it happens again. It's so frustrating!

So I went in and verified my email on the settings or something I read about verifying my email and it hasn’t happened in a week!

Same here. I tried telling the computer I needed my sign on name. It sent an email to the email address that I can't get access to. (Edited per community guidelines)?!?!
