Can't login to ATT Wireless account

I cannot login to my wireless account, it just sends me to Directv when I login, which makes no sense.  If I wanted to check Directv, I would login to Directv.   I don't understand what is going on with the website, does it not exist anymore?  I used to be able to login without issue.

We are here to help you log in to your wireless account, lspiegelhoff.

We do understand how important it is to be able to manage your account online.

If you have more than one account, you might have more than one user ID. Make sure to sign in with the user ID for the account you want to manage.

If you would like to use one user ID for all your AT&T accounts. You can combine your accounts.

To add another AT&T account to your user ID:

  1. Go to your myAT&T Profile and sign in with the ID you want to use as your primary account.
  2. Scroll to Account settings and select Linked accounts.
  3. Choose Link another account.
  4. Select the service you want to link and then choose Continue.
  5. Enter the AT&T phone number or account number and the billing ZIP Code of the account you want to add, and then select Continue.
  6. Follow the prompts to complete the process. We’ll give you helpful pointers along the way. When you complete the steps, we may send you a one-time verification code. Enter this code to finish linking the account.

Try this and let us know how it goes! We look forward to your response.

All it does is send me to Directv (shocker).  There isn't an option to link accounts.  I would prefer not to link the account and just be able to login to ATT.   Why would I need to link anything?

Thank you for keeping us updated, lspiegelhoff.

How exactly are you trying to sign in to your AT&T account? We ask, as we have a few troubleshooting steps to help you get into the right account:

  • If you're trying to sign in to your account using a browser, try clearing your cache and cookies. This just may be a website glitch, which can be quickly fixed just by clearing your browser's cache and cookies, or even using a different browser.
  • If you haven't done so already, try signing in through the MyAT&T app. This will help us narrow down the source of the issue, such as if this is the website or your login information.

If your DIRECTV and wireless accounts aren't under the same User ID, then we also recommend you doublecheck which User ID you're using when you try signing in as well.

Please let us know if this helps, so we can look into this further if needed.

I'm having the same issue.  Login USE to give you the option of ATT Wireless or Directv.  Logging into att.com automatically routes to directv.com.  I get this on multiple browsers.

I found a workaround for this issue that solved it for me! I tried calling customer support but was on hold for over an hour so I messed around with my account while I was waiting and found a solution.

I went to ATT.com and tried logging into my att account which sent me to the DirecTV website like usual. Once logged in on the DirecTV website I went to the account page and clicked the change my User ID button. I changed my User ID to a different email address that I have. Once I changed my User ID I logged out. I then went back to the ATT website and logged in with the User ID I created and for some reason it now works! Now when I log in, I stay on the att page and am not redirected to the DirecTV page. Not sure why that worked but changing my User ID seemed to fix the endless loop I was in. I didn't want to use that new email address so now that I had access to the account I removed the wireless account from that User ID. Once removed, I was able to create a new ATT account and link my wireless number to that new account.  Hope that helps!
