Certian phone number not showing up on text usage download
I am needing to provide documentation for a court case that shows how much a number is texting my line. When I download my text usage from AT&T website, the number shows up no where. Not outgoing or incoming even though there is regular communication with this number. Whyyyyy???

Are the texts sent using iMessage instead of cellular?

It's possible but other iMessages show up. It is iPhone to iPhone.

Messages sent via iMessage or other messaging apps don’t show up on AT&T logs. Only messages sent via SMS/MMS.

Not from AT&T, they don't have it. It's only on your phone.

If a message wasn’t able to be sent through iMessage, sometimes they will try to be sent through cell, but if the message was successful through iMessage, it won’t show up on AT&T logs.
Try Apple to see if they have iMessage info, but I’m guessing you’ll need some sort of legal request for the info.

We understand the difficulties, and we want to get this taken care off.
We can definitely provide you with some more information about viewing your data usage with detailed billing. When you Check your wireless usage history, data and text are combined into one usage report. This is where you are able to see any phone numbers that text messages were sent to or received from, but for data usage there will not be any phone numbers shown because it is simply showing that data was used for the line on your wireless account that you selected. The information included for data with your Detailed billing will be data usage, including date, time, and amount used.
Also, you can log in to My AT&T portal for more information on the detailed billing.
