I have call the phone number and all it does in a lady telling you to fill out a form or can't get anyone on the phone to speak to. Hope can I contact the fraud department and speak to a live agent?

You likely don’t. There are many such complaints, the global fraud team does not ever answer that number. You may need to escalate to corporate by filing an FCC or BBB complaint in order to speak with someone.

Thank you for the response, @YUANDY888.
Since you are unable to reach a live agent at the Fraud Department, here are some other ways you can report fraud that occurs by email, text message, or phone. You can contact any of the three major credit bureaus to place a fraud alert on your credit file. The fraud alert asks creditors to contact you before opening new accounts or making changes to your existing accounts. You may report identity theft at www.identitytheft.gov.
We hope this information helps. Let me know if there's anything else we can do for you. Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums.

Well to whomever reads this that cares...I give up...A fraudulent account was opened ..not with my name but other info and another name was used. Obviously the name didn't match the social security number...but it was still opened...So I get collections on my Equifax. Which I have had taken off with the dispute and it was done quickly because it was obviously a fraudulent account...But AT@T has to make it so so hard to deal with them...I've sent my info 3 times they tried calling 1 time and because it was a bad connection I get a dismissal email saying ..they have tried contacting me and closed the dispute and to retry again ...3 times...FTC, Equifax my banks all the other credit places all have worked to help but not AT@T ...well I give up I've tried, and they failed... I still have my perfect credit and they still allow crooked fraudulent accounts to be open so BEAWARE>>>

Why do you have to deal with AT&T? You aren't a customer, they removed the collection from your credit report; what else is there to do?

No. By removing it from your credit report, they are acknowledging that the debt is not yours.
