Customer Request for Records
• Postpaid customers can log on to their online account and view the past 16 months of billing statements.
• AT&T customers can request their records by sending a customer consent request to gldc@att.com
o Postpaid customers must send consent for call/text detail records if needed further than 16 months and
those records will only be sent to the valid billing address on file.
o AT&T prepaid and Cricket customers must send consent for call/text detail records and those records will
only be sent to the valid billing address on file.
▪ For all records sent to a customer’s billing address, the billing address must be at least 30 days
old. (i.e., there can have been no address changes within the last 30 days prior to the request for
billing records being made). This is to protect the customer in the off chance that the account has
been compromised.
o This information can be requested to be sent to an attorney, but the request must be notarized to be sent
to the attorney.
o Any request for location information MUST have an AT&T CUSTOMER AUTHORIZATION FOR RELEASE OF
CALL RECORDS AND/OR LOCATION INFORMATION
**** AT&T does not store the content of text messages in the normal course of business. The content of text messages is
only stored for those subscribers who subscribe to our AT&T Messages service and who have elected to store those
messages. AT&T does not control when the messages are saved and/or deleted. You can view your own content through the
AT&T Messages web interface at: https://messages.att.net. If you are unable to obtain your content via the web interface
due to technical difficulties, please contact Customer Care at 800-331-0500 or 611 from your mobile device. Any messages
sent/received through 3rd party apps or iMessage are not maintained by AT&T and you must reach out to that company.
Billing
• A processing fee of $45.00 and $25 for each identifier requested to be searched will be billed for all customer consent
requests. For example, a request for usage records on two numbers will be charged the $45.00 processing fee plus
$50.00 for the two numbers requested.

This is NOT cricket.  At&t owns cricket, but is a separate carrier. Your logs are in your Cricket online account.

🤦‍♀️  This is a very public community forum.  You would have been asked NOT to post your phone numbers or personal information.  You will not get your request filled here.    You can see your text logs, NOT CONTENT, in your online account.  The actual content of text is on the phone only.

-------------------INCLUDED IN EACH POST FOR CLARIFICATION______
While AT&T employees do look at forum posts from time to time, we are here to represent the forum with our experiences as customers and do not represent AT&T in any official capacity with our responses and do so on our own time unpaid and off the clock. As employees we are not rewarded nor compensated to participate in these forums This forum is comprised of regular customers to communicate with other customers to offer advice and share experiences same as any other user Although there is a small team of customer care specialists that monitor the forums the sheer volume of posts are simply too many posts for these agents to respond to each one of them.

Hi @klujic

The Community Forums are a public support option where other users, and AT&T, will try and assist with high level support needs. This means we won’t be able to look into account specific concerns. To get the help you need for your unique issue, please review our Contact Us page [www.att.com/support/contact-us/], and choose the best option to reach out to us. You can call, chat, or reach out via social media, and we can review your specific issue and provide you support. If you feel your issue isn’t account specific, and can be answered generally, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to help.

Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums,

Andrew, AT&T Community Specialist.

@klujic Prepaid service maintains the most recent 6 months. There are no records beyond that.
