If you're trying to permanently change your billing due date, you have to change your entire billing cycle. And you do have to call AT&T to do this. To change your entire billing cycle, you will get a couple of wonky bills. Either larger than usual to accommodate the extra days, or a couple of smaller bills with fewer days.

You can't make payment arrangements if your bill is past due.
If that's what you mean by change due date...
