How to reset my 4 digit pin

I can't change my 4-digit pin on the AT&T website, it always gives me an error and I can never change it, how should I proceed since the customer service people can't do it either? This is very frustrating and very difficult, it makes me think that I should change my phone provider.

If you're unable to reset your 4-digit PIN with AT&T online or via customer service:

  1. Clear browser cache and cookies.
  2. Try a different browser or device.
  3. Contact AT&T support again or visit a physical store.
  4. Explore alternative communication channels like social media or online chat.
  5. Consider escalating the issue if necessary.
  6. If all else fails, explore switching to a different phone provider.

Well since you need your 4 digit PIN to transfer to a different provider, that's not a very good solution.

Are you postpaid or prepaid? If you are postpaid user you should log into your account and change your security PIN code in your online account.

Prepaid - read carefully!

Please note that you are sent a one-time password and you must change your PIN code in your account once you log in
