My At&t line was cancelled & i couldn't port my number
I am a AT&T business line customer and i went to the store to join their service and was said that they had a plan and enrolled me in that and charged extra in all the billing cycles saying and escaping the fact that the couldn't put us on the plan they promised and are charging extra after alot of calls and visits to the store they cancelled my number without and prior notice. The sad part is i couldn't port my number to any other provider because they locked my number and i made a lot of calls and been on every department they have and none of them allowed me to port my number they said take another number. For a student you know how important the number is and we can't keep switching numbers whenever the carrier wants us to.
First they couldn't fulfill the promise they made and to cover it up they just cancelled our line and blocked our numbers without our any prior notice and started to say all the stories to convince us that it is our fault.
The worst network in terms of service you could ever use is AT&T

You said you're a student, and you're opening a business line? That alone smells fraudy...
You can't port your number because the number has to be active in order to be ported and your numbers canceled.. (You also have to have your account number and a security PIN code to port)
AT&T doesn't cancel service just because you're unhappy with the price. They canceled service for fraud, or because you didn't pay
Something tells me that there's a whole lot more of this story that you didn't bother to post. Not going to fly...
If you had a problem with the price, you could have certainly come to this forum and asked right away, or made a complaint directly to AT&T. Although I will tell you if you didn't understand the prices and promotions, that doesn't mean they were wrong, and it definitely does not mean AT&T's going to fix them if they aren't broken
