PassCode

In the Profile section of MyAT&T account is an option to set a PassCode.  Is a PassCode the same as a Account Pin #?  Or is PassCode and Pin # two different account security settings?

Yes.

AT&T uses the word passcode. I think it's too confusing when password is a very similar term. Password refers to alpha numeric and has to be more than eight characters in length. The passcode is a 4 to 8 digit numerical security code for your account

Hi @douspe210, thank you for reaching out to us. Let's get the help you need.

To answer your question, a passcode is a numerical PIN that you use for a specific account.  It's usually four or eight digits.

Please go through the article to know more about account passcodes.

A passcode and an account PIN are two different account security settings. While a passcode is used to add an extra layer of security to your account, an account PIN is used to verify your identity when you contact AT&T or make changes to your account.

We hope this information helps!
