50% off past billing offer (leniency offer) sent this morning to have my service reconnected but collections couldn't apply the offer!!

After receiving an email at 6:38am 

Email stating : (COPY & PASTED) 

I called the department of collections as stated in the email to be told that the offer is not available for me and that there's nothing they could do. Why wouldn't they be able to honor an offer that was sent to me by the company? Im aware of the late payment but I do not need to go longer without. Customer service cannot provide assistance and collections had no explanation as to why the system has offered my account a leniency offer that's invalid. I think this is totally unfair I can't even make a payment arrangement at this time. Looking for answers before my account is closed officially.

No one here has any idea why they sent you an offer and then refuse to honor it.  We’re just customers and the only response you’ll get from AT&T is to tell you to contact them.  You’ll have to take it up with AT&T directly.
