Account Credit and Installment payments

I recently cancelled my service and traded my phone in and got a $300 credit on my account. I was hoping to use that credit to pay off some of the remaining installments and I’ll pay the difference out of pocket. I’m unsure on how to go about doing this

Not sure if that is possible or not. You can use that credit against your monthly bill which includes the monthly installment but there is no option to use that credit just for installments with one possible exception. The only option for a phone is to pay the entire balance owed. If you pay the entire balance, it might let you use credit but not sure about that.

If your account is closed, that should be automatic. You'll get a final bill showing the remaining amount due, include the balance of installments. The credit to the account will also appear on that bill. You just pay the amount on the bill.
