Can I trade-in through Apple?
With Apple's release of the new iPhones, I'm wanting to trade in my current iPhone X for one of the new models. I'm currently on an AT&T Next Plan. If I trade in my phone through Apple's trade-in program, they say they will contact AT&T for me. Does that mean that my AT&T Next plan will end right away, or will I have to continue making payments on a phone I no longer have? If I traded in my phone through AT&T, I could just upgrade without having to pay any more installments on my current phone. However, this is more expensive.

If you use Apple’s trade in program, you can either continue paying for your Next plan or pay it off. Apple’s trade in program is totally separate from ATT’s program. If you don’t trade your phone into ATT, you still have to finish paying for it.
