Detailed billing reprints
How do I Request “detailed billing reprints” as far back as possible for a account closed in 2020?
I need to do this via email and preferably not by phone.
can I receive a electronic record of the reprints?
Can I just pay the $5 a month $60 for a year and receive them via email.

AT&T does not do support by email. You have to call. You cannot pay the cost over time. It is a one-time purchase.

I should have been clear, I thought I had mentioned the past due balance.
I have a past due balance.
is it possible to just pay for the reprints ($5 per month or $60 for a year)
or would I have to pay the balance off in order to receive the reprints.

That's not a question we can answer because we are not employees. People responding on this forum are just other customers. It is very likely AT&T will want to get paid it's past due balance in addition to the $5 per bill for reprints.
(At least I would if I were them)
You also have to be able to prove account ownership since the account is closed

Hi there,
The Community Forums are a public support option where other users, and AT&T, will try and assist with high level support needs. This means we won’t be able to look into account specific concerns. To get the help you need for your unique issue, please review our Contact Us page, and choose the best option to reach out to us. You can call, chat, or reach out via social media and we can review your specific issue and provide you support. If you feel your issue isn’t account specific, and can be answered generally, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to help.
Thank you, JustinM

If you’ve had a past due balance since 2020, I’d be very surprised that it hasn’t been sent to collections. Was the account closed by AT&T due to being behind on payments, or did you close it and then not pay the final bill?

The latter I believe. I switched carriers after 20years (actually since 2000) with AT&T.
I’m not sure if the final bill was paid as I never received anything from them or any collection agency.
I dropped AT&T after decades of being a loyal customer because they refused to amend a over inflated bill after months,
do you think I will still be able to request and retrieve the call logs for the remainder of the seven year retention period.

As we stated before, that's not for us to say. You need to talk directly with AT&T

If there is a past due from years ago, then it should have been sent to a collection agency. They will have the info for what agency owns the balance.
If balance were still with AT&T, then I would expect that must be paid off first before you could get reprints. But if balance is owned by a collection agency, unknown how AT&T will handle that.
In any case, you must call AT&T to get the solid answer and to make the order. You cannot avoid calling.
